Why these bands

When we book bands, it's usually because we've already fallen in love with them and are obsessed with their music. We look for the up-and-coming acts who still play smaller venues, so you get to experience their music up close. National touring acts, in a small mountain town.

We pour a rotating selection of California craft beer, natural wines, and small-batch cocktails. Falafalot runs the window every show, slinging loaded pita and the best fries in Mariposa County.

Our story

A family business,
ten years in.

Nate and Rosalyn met at eighteen and bonded over live music. They chased shows together for years, from punk basements to bluegrass tents. Nate had wanted to own a music venue for as long as he could remember.

In 2015, a small commercial space opened up in Nate's hometown of Mariposa, and they took the leap. They're married now, with two kids. The venue is still the thing it has always been: a small room in the foothills where good bands come to play.

Things people ask us.

Are you open for dinner?
As of February 2026, we're open for events only. Show nights, trivia, open mic, private bookings. Check the calendar for what's coming up.
Is there food and drink at shows?
Yes. We serve a short menu of snacks and small plates, plus beer, wine, and cocktails during events.
Are shows all ages?
Most of our shows are all ages and family-friendly. A few 21+ nights pop up. The event page will tell you for sure.
Where do I park?
Free street parking on 5th Street and the surrounding blocks. Plan for a short walk on busy show nights.
Can I rent the space for a private event?
Yes. Birthdays, weddings, wakes, memorials, benefits. Email us and we'll walk you through it.
Do tickets sell out?
Often. We're a small room. If a show is on your list, grab tickets early.
